Annie Mahoney

Annie brings more than a decade of experience in financial services, grounded in relationship driven work and thoughtful service. She began her career at TIAA Trust Company as a Senior Trust Officer, supporting high net worth professors, medical doctors, researchers, and their families with trust and estate planning, charitable giving, estate settlement, and ongoing wealth administration. In June 2024, she joined Tenured Advisors, an independent registered investment advisory firm founded by former TIAA advisors, where she continues to serve purpose driven clients committed to education, mentorship, and lifelong learning

Earlier in her career, Annie worked as a preschool teacher with Head Start, an experience that shaped her appreciation for how children thrive when met with patience, encouragement, and genuine care. Her connection to Fab Newport began when she recognized a former preschool student’s name in a newsletter and reached out to learn more; she was drawn to the organization’s warmth and its intentional focus on mentorship, real world experiences, and relationship centered learning. Annie believes deeply in the power of community and is honored to serve on the Fab Newport board. She holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Rhode Island and has completed Trust I with Cannon Financial. Annie lives in Portsmouth, Rhode Island, with her husband Bill and their four children.
